The One Dress Project

The One Dress Project is a journey I began on September 20, 2011 and ended on April 07, 2012.  A total of 201 days.  During these 201 days, you guessed it, I wore the same dress.  I did this as a passive fundraiser and through conversations and even public speaking raised money for an organization called The Daughter Project.  This organization is based out of Ohio & they are working to house young women that have escaped from the human trafficking industry.  In addition to funraising, I also used this dress to start conversations that would raise awareness of the injustice of human trafficking.

It was a long 201 days that I thought were going to be devoted to ministering to other people.  I was shocked, however, to realize just how much I grew in this process.  Below is a video of my testimony about the journey.  But if you would like to read more about The One Dress Project, you can start with the entry where it all began.
